What is Reiki?
Reiki is a method of channelling life force energy. We work on the premise that we are all made of the same energy and therefore we are all connected by this energy. It is a system of self-healing and spiritual development that I teach and anyone with an interest in energy or self-healing can learn it.
As a complimentary therapy, Reiki supports and activates your ability to heal yourself. Reiki is an intuitive energy that works with the body’s own energy system and will support a sense of balance. It flows to where it is needed and it does what it needs to do. We trust this intelligent life force energy to go exactly where it is needed in order to create balance for you on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level. We only have to look at how intelligently we are made as human beings for us to know that the energy is always working for our highest benefit.
Energy follows intent and so I channel the energy for your highest benefit during the session. The aim is to release any energy blockages that have occurred over time as well as restore energy to where it is needed. Balanced energy = balanced person!
Reiki is a method of energy healing that is generally done hands off. During a session, I connect to the energy (Chi or Universal Life Force) and act as a neutral channel for that energy. I connect to your energy field and that energy flows to where it is needed. The energy intuitively guides me to where it is needed in order to create balance for your particular needs.
Reiki benefits are stress reduction, relaxation, better mind, body spirit well being and it can also be used for any physical ailments. Reiki works on your energy field and your chakras (energy centres) and helps to bring your energy back in to balance.
This session is done in silence with you lying down and closing your eyes to feel the energy flow. I guide you in to the session and when it’s done, we can have a chat about what was experienced. You’ll leave with a little homework that will help you to maintain the balance by doing some inner work for yourself.
